A good Chamberlain Worcester drum inkwell of slightly tapered shape, the top with three quill holes, the inkwell itself decorated all round and to the top with the classic Regency period dark blue, red and richly gilt palette of Chamberlain's popular 240 "Fine Old Japan" pattern. Marked underneath in red with pattern number 240.

Condition: Very good, typical light gilt wear to the top rim otherwise undamaged and unrestored.
