Spode chamberstick

A fine and rare Regency period Spode chamberstick in the classic 1166 pattern, both base and sconce with bands of applied pearl beading, the rich cobalt blue ground decorated with gilt rosettes, exquisite graduated gilt scaling and groups of vividly painted garden flowers and foliage. Marked underneath 'Spode 1166'.

Condition: Very small edge flake with professional restoration, minimal wear to top of handle from use (see photos) Overall absolutely beautiful condition.
