A fine pair of Derby (King Street) spill vases of gently tapering shape with recessed foot decorated all over in the Japanese taste with a pattern of stylised flowers leaves and fronds in a red and gold palette against a green dotted background all between wide gilt bands. Each vase marked underneath in red with the King Street factory mark of a crown and crossed batons together with the initials S and H for Sampson Hancock.
