A good attractive Coalport cup and saucer (No. 7 shape in the factory pattern books) the cup with high loop handle enhanced with graduated gilt dots and decorated around with gilt whirls. Both pieces with moulded rims picked out in gilt and panels of cross hatching and gilt motifs against an apricot ground together with trailing and flowing gilt fronds and rosettes. Marked underneath in gilt with pattern number 2/599.
