Chamberland W0rcester inkstand

A fine and complete Regency period Chamberlain Worcester inkstand in rich royal blue comprising a removable inkwell and cover, wafer pot and cover and taperstick all on a fitted tray. Both inkwell and wafer pot with scalloped gilded rims, the finials moulded as tulips and leaves and the taperstick  rising from a scrolled, moulded and gilded base.  The tray of scrolled rococo shape with three recesses, the integral pen tray finely painted with colourful garden flowers and all enhanced with gilt detail. Marked underneath in script "Chamberlain & Co. Worcester, 155 New Bond St. London"

Condition: Extremely good with no breakages. Some typical light crazing with professional restoration to minor chips and light cosmetic refreshing to the gilt in places Remarkable condition after more than 200 years.....
