A very good early Victorian Coalport inkstand with elaborate double scrolled handles, the raised and pierced galleries enclosing an integral pen tray, a leaf moulded taperstick and two removable inkwells and covers, each cover with a flower and leaf finial. The bright apple green ground colourfully painted with a daffodil, a rose and other spring flowers within a gilded and scrolled cartouche.

Condition: Overall quite lovely with only a small green firing 'spit' and an old small repair to the rim of one cover.
