A pair of Coalport plates of six lobed shape, the dark blue borders with gilt dentil rims, swags and pendants, the centres very well painted, one with a basket full of garden flowers, the other with a large floral bouquet, all within a border of gilt motifs. The decoration of these plates is usually attributed to William Billingsley's decorating establishment at Mansfield, Nottinghamshire.
Date: Circa 1800
Width : 9 inches ( 23 cm.)
Condition: Very good with just typical light wear to small areas of rims.
