English porcelain vase

A most attractive and decorative late Georgian English porcelain vase of campana shape raised on a pedestal foot with the upturned gilt handles terminating in hound's head masks. The pale lilac and off white  ground decorated around with an intricate pattern of anthemion and scrolled detail in pale blue and gilt and  crisply and colourfully painted to the front with a rectangular panel of buildings in a rural and wooded landscape framed by a wide gilt border.

Circa 1830.

Height: 7  inches (17.75cm)  Width across top: 5 1/2 inches (14cm)

Condition:  Excellent, undamaged and unrestored with only typical light gilt wear to the high points of the mask terminals and a few minor specks to the rim.
