Grainger Worcester vase

A fine Grainger Worcester reticulated vase and cover in the manner of Alfred Barry, the slender tapering shape with gracefully curved handles, all on a circular base, the pierced body with pale turquoise ground and sinuous interlaced strapping in cream and gilt. The vase delicately painted to one side with a bouquet of multicoloured irises and to the other side with a single flower. Marked underneath with the Grainger factory stamp and pattern number 963.
