A rare pair of early Regency period Herculaneum cans, each with a circular panel surrounded by a serpent swallowing it's tail and each finely painted with a winged cherub in a golden cloak, probably by William Dixon and all enhanced with gilding.
One can with the label "N.C.S Exhibition, Liverpool 1993" and the hand written number 264.
Date: Circa 1810
Height: 2.5 inches (6.25 cm)
Condition: Very good condition with only typical very minor wear to rims.
