An interesting Regency period Spode sugar box and cover, the cover with cushion finial, the bowl with moulded and gilded ring handles, the deep brick red ground colourfully painted with panels of bright multicoloured butterflies and moths highlighted in gilt and all within straight sided gilt framing.

Condition: Very good with good gilding. Any apparent wear to the moulded side rings is purely from reflections.
