Barr Flight and Barr taperstick


A fine and rare Regency period Barr Flight and Barr taperstick with gilt ring handle and thumbrest, decorated all over in red, green, blue and gilt with the classic Kylin or Dragon in Compartments pattern. Marked underneath with an incised letter B.

Date: Circa 1810
Height: 3 1/4 inches (8.25cm)
Condition: Very minor gilt wear to foot rim, light professional restoration to thumbrest join above handle otherwise extremely good.
