A good pair of Spode bottle shaped vases, the dark blue grounds with graduated scale and pendant gilding and gilt footrims, the necks slightly flared to the tops and well painted to both sides with bouquets of colourful garden flowers. Hand written marks underneath in red "SPODE" and pattern number 217.

Condition: Good. One vase with a small 3 /16 inch (5 mm) old restoration to the rim together with a couple of minor flaws to the glaze only and some typical light spots of wear. An extremely attractive pair.
