A good large Copeland and Garrett bowl, well modelled in the fine white earthenware "New Blanche" body, the fluted bowl with it's undulating rim rising from a spreading, scrolled and gilt detailed pedestal foot. The bowl decorated both inside and out with an underglaze blue transfer printed pattern of leaves, flowers, rings and rosettes all painted in an Imari palette of cobalt blue, light blue, iron red and buff all highlighted in gilt. Impressed mark underneath with Copeland and Garrett " New Blanche" factory stamp together with pattern number 5519.

Condition: Excellent, no damage or restoration. Typical minor wear to high points of the copper lustre rim.
