A good Spode stoneware chamberstick with bold 'D' shaped handle, the light brown ground with applied bright royal blue decoration, the sconce rising from a star shaped design and the base with a continuous band of flower heads and foliage, all within a shark's tooth border. Impressed mark underneath 'SPODE'.

Condition: Crisp and clean with just some minor retouching to the inside top of the sconce, damage probably caused by the careless removal of candle stubs.
