A fine Chamberlain Worcester inkstand comprising an inkwell and cover, seal box and cover and  pounce pot, to the back two quill holders and a candle holder modelled as a sea creature with gilt scales, the whole elaborately decorated in gilt and black. The front with the Crest, Motto and Shield of Arms of Sir Thomas Lighton, High Sheriff of Dublin, First Baronet (1791 - 1805) Marked underneath "Chamberlain Worcester" in gold.

Provenance: From an English private collection.
