A rare and unusual Flight, Barr and Barr plate with an interesting and eye catching subject.The border with a rich salmon ground decorated with gilt scrolls,  fronds and swirls surrounded by gilt banding, the centre panel well painted with a classic Georgian hunting scene, the Huntsman and his hounds in full pursuit across a landscape of rolling hills, hedges and pasture all within a circular gilt band. To the underside, the footrim with a wide gilt band and the plate with an impressed crown and FBB.

Condition: Good:  Professional restoration to a small flake to the underside edge only, a couple of small scratches, spots of wear to the gilt rim with a slightly larger 3/4 inch (2cm) section to the lower right (see photos) and some light cosmetic retouching. Yes, signs of 200 years of use but with a great visual impact....
