Coalport inkwell

A good Georgian period Coalport inkwell with removable inner quill guide, two side containers, two quill holders and candle sconce, the top with three quill holes and gilt detail, the body with 'cracked ice' patterning against a warm apricot ground, the front painted with a rectangular panel of  a ruined and overgrown castle in a picturesque rural setting all in a puce and tinted palette.

Condition: A small area of professional restoration to one container, some light ink staining to quill guide, and some typical light gilt wear from 200 years of use (see photos)
