Chamberlain Worcester inkstand

A fine and complete Regency period Chamberlain Worcester inkstand in rich royal blue comprising a removable inkwell and cover, pot and cover and taperstick all on a fitted tray. Both inkwell and pot with scalloped gilded rims, the finials moulded as tulips and leaves, the taperstick  rising from a scrolled gilded base.  The tray of scrolled rococo shape with three recesses, the integral pen tray finely painted with colourful garden flowers. Marked underneath in script "Chamberlain & Co. Worcester, 155 New Bond St. London"

Length: 11 1/2 inches  (29 cm)  Width: 6 1/2  inches (16.5 cm)
Condition: Overall extremely good. Some typical light crazing, professional restoration to minor faults plus light cosmetic refreshing of the gilt in places.
